Information and Assistance (referral)
Providing information and assistance is an integral service component of the services required by the Older Americans Act. It is designed to be a resource to seniors, caregivers, community leaders, and the general public to obtain information about senior services and issues. In Utah, an individual can obtain information or assistance by contacting the Area Agency on Aging which provides services in their community, or by contacting the Division of Aging and Adult Services.
Your local Area Agency on Aging can best answer inquiries about the following:

- Local demographics
- List and description of facilities serving seniors
